Our design mandate included the revamping of the building facade, as well as the design of an addition, which would expand the floor area from 4000 sf to over 8000 sf.

The existing Just Us facility was originally a farmer's market. The facility was cramped, and in desperate need of improvement.

The addition allowed the facility's production capabilities to more than double.

Improvements were made to the relationships between building spaces, and their use of space, allowing for more efficient and effective facility operations.

This project included major renovations to the production facility, cafe and gift area, enlarged roasting facility, and a new fair trade coffee museum.

Solar panels were provided as a renewable energy source, and incorporated into the design of the facade.
