Our client, the Kings VON Hospice, a place of passage, is launching a public fund raising campaign to build the first hospice in Atlantic Canada.

We were commissioned to bring focus to the broad range of ideas and facility requirements and develop a design concept of how the hospice may look.

Hospice is a place of passage - in essence the gateway to the next world. We used this philosophy as the foundation of our concept design. Principals of comfort, dignity and peace help create the precise orientation, layout and detailing of the building design.
